Gyoza dipping sauce

Some gyoza dipping sauce recipes require boiling. This is a no-cooking dipping sauce. Just give it 15 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.

  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce (again, Kikkoman)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 scallion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 bird's eye chili finely sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seed oil


  • Mix all the ingredients together. Leave for at least 15 minutes to infuse sufficiently.
