Chinese Lemon Chicken Marinade

  • 500 grams chicken thigh fillets (you can use breast but I find dark meat more flavorful)
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons tapioca starch or corn or potato starch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce


  • Cut the chicken fillets into one-inch cubes. Place in a bowl.
  • Mix the rest of the ingredients. Pour over the chicken. Mix well.
  • Marinate in the fridge, covered, for a few hours.
