A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about how I make my tsokolateng tablea hot drink the modern way. Now, let me tell you how I made incredibly delicious milkshake with tablea. Yes, milkshake. Unlike commercial milkshakes that look like brown-colored sweetened milk, this milkshake retains the unmistakable bitter-sweet flavor of the chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • tsokolateng tablea
  • ice

Instructions

  • Pour half a cup of milk into a mug. Add the tablea — how much depends on how thick and rich you want your milkshake. As a guide, view photos of the tsokolateng tablea that I have at home — I used five pieces per half cup of milk. Heat the milk in the microwave for a minute. This should moisten and soften the tablea a bit.
  • Pour the contents of the mug into the blender, add the other half cup of cold milk and about four ice cubes. Puree until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy your super rich milkshake.

Pureed cucumber, dairy milk, coconut milk, sugar, ice and mint leaves. Those are the ingredients for this cucumber and coconut milk shake. The proportion between milk and coconut milk can be adjusted.
