Unlike cable TV, Dream Satellite TV’s decoder is for one TV only. Even with a splitter, it still means only one channel will be viewable in ALL TVs at any given time. It all depends on who’s got control over the decoder. Since Speedy and the girls are always arguing over TV programs, I thought Speedy could use a separate subscription for the TV in our bedroom and his own decoder which he can have exclusive control of. In the new house, of course, after we move in a couple of weeks.
June 15 is Father’s Day and June 17 is Speedy’s birthday. Great timing, right?
Conversation about ten days ago…
Me: “What would you like for your birthday — a second Dream Satellite TV subscription (all your own, no more competing with Sam and Alex) or a new cell phone?”
Speedy: “Navarra na lang, dear.”
Well, since I can’t afford to give him a Nissan Navarra, I’m postponing the birthday gift until I can afford it. I got him a Father’s Day gift earlier today instead which, I figure, will be more useful to him especially because we are moving to a new house.
So, Speedy browsed through the book, looked at me with THAT face and THOSE eyes and asked: “Does this book come with a broom and a rag?”
Oh, so sorry. How remiss of me. To follow, dear. To follow. :)
Lecheng Navarra ‘yan.
