I love cocktail drinks! I especially love the fruity ones. On our first date, I ordered five different cocktail drinks in a row and Speedy’s jaw just dropped. It’s the colors, and the interplay of flavors and sensations. Tangy and sweet, cooling and warming.
While I won’t say no to anything “on the rocks” if that’s the only thing around, if there were choices, I’d always choose a cocktail. It isn’t surprising then that when we host parties at home—birthdays, Christmas, New Year and even when we just feel like getting together with friends—cocktails figure prominently in the menu.
