A Chinese dinner with blogging friends from way, waaaaay back

Last night, Speedy and I met up with my blogging friends. Or, perhaps, I should say friends that blog. All these people I first met online between 2003 and 2004 because, like me, they were bloggers. And then they became friends beyond our online acquaintance. It was a wonderful reunion and I still feel aglow.

Rose, Apol, Tito Rolly, Jay, Mec, me, Speedy and Doc Emer. Jardine arrived after the photo was taken.

I am smiling as I write this, remembering Tito Rolly’s never-ending green jokes. It was hilarious talking about the absentees and exchanging notes on blog scandals. All of that over a Chinese dinner that I can only describe as superb. HK Choi at the SM Megamall Atrium. My recommendations… well, all the dishes were wonderful but the standouts — the chicken feet, lechon macau and pata tim.
