When you want that crunch in your salad without the bacon
So, Sam loves her raw vegetables salad. But she won’t eat bacon anymore. But salads are so much nicer with that occasional crunch one gets from bits of crisp fried bacon. Should she lose out on the texture? Nah, she doesn’t have to. There’s always tofu skins that can be fried to a crisp, crumbled then sprinkled on top of a pile of raw veggies.

But tofu skin is bland! It isn’t salty and tasty like bacon! Right. But there’s a solution for that too. Herbed croutons.
