We ate them inside the movie house

jelly-bean

Sam bought a bag of tropical flavored jelly beans on the way to the movies one weekend. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, if I remember correctly, and smack in the middle of the action, she offered me some and wanted me to guess the flavor of each bean that I put in my mouth. With names like strawberry daiquiri and island punch, I don’t think I would have been able to guess.

What do you suppose the flavor of the blue jelly bean is? Jelly Belly’s website calls them Berry Blue. Blueberry? But don’t berries grow only in countries with cool climates? That makes Jelly Belly’s tropical mix not very tropical, does it?
