The Sunken Garden of the U.P. Diliman campus is located within the academic oval. It is surrounded by the Main Library building, the College of Law (Malcolm Hall), the Student Activity Center (Vinzon’s Hall) and the College of Education (Benitez Hall).
I have a lot of happy memories of the Sunken Garden — putting up a halo-halo booth during the (first ever?) University Fair, watching a Heber Bartolome concert, flying a kite during a competition, attending a vigil… More than a decade later, my own kids were running around the Sunken Garden.
What was it like at U.P.’s Sunken Garden on election day?

The Sunken Garden is still everyone’s playground. Just as it was when I was a student in U.P.

A place to play football…

… throw frisbees…

A place where kids can run and play…

And a place to relax and just watch.

i really like this place especially if we have series of concerts like the eraser heads…i missed the moment here when we had a bible study with my friend Carleo tarun. And of course, seeing the gwapo boys playing the soccer.
