Until yesterday, I wasn’t sure if it was a he or a she. I thought it was a she because it has boobies. But Sam said male cats have boobies just like female cats. I checked near the tail to see if it had balls but I couldn’t understand what I saw. So, I just took Sam’s word that it’s a he.

He’s a month old and he still doesn’t have a name. Sam can’t decide between “Potato” and “Patatas”, I told her that both don’t roll comfortably on the tongue and he might end up getting addressed as Psssst. So Sam is rethinking his name.

The kitten’s eyes appeared gray-green when he was about a week old.

Then, they turned blue-gray. As of yesterday, they were more gray than blue.

Maybe, we can call him Gray. Or Blue. Or Hoy!

omg! so cute! I always wanted a cat, but my father’s mom and sister died from them, and my husband hates cat and prefers dogs. sigh, I can only admire them from afar..

Cute! My one yr old daughter is so crazy about cats. She would scream “meow meow meow” every time she sees one and run after it.

  3. Beatrize says:

Monica Banana — that was the “full name” of my sister’s cat.

  4. curiousGirl, you mean they died from diseases caught from cats?

Nina, are you planning on getting her one? :)

Beatrize, LOL so what’s her nickname? :D

    • Beatrize says:

      Her nickname was Monica!

my daughter’s first encounter with animals was with our pet dog at my parents’. She loved them, too. Pinanggigilan nya and she would hug them. But here in brunei, she sees cats more often. we might get her a cat – are they less messy than dogs? We live in an apartment bldg and i don’t know how the logistics will be. I’m a dog-lover myself but we can’t have dogs since muslims (so i’ve read and heard) are sort of averse to them.

She/he is adorable! So fluffy and fat. I still want a black cat with green eyes one day, maybe one with white mittens.

Connie – I read awhile back that cats do not meow to each other. Cats only meow to people. I’ve lived around cats my whole life and have begun observing this – I do believe it to be true. :)

awww so cute! i remember our pets ‘kuting’ and ‘barako’. Kuting was our first ever pet cat. We fell in love with her instantly the first time we saw her because she was so playful and malambing. We named her Kuting because she was so little when we got her. Barako on the other hand was our babaero male cat. Hay…he comes home so dirty lagi so one time we followed him to find out what he’s up to every time he goes out. Ayun huli! nambabae pala hahaha. He was surrounded with so many female cats and we think he ‘wildly’ makes out with them sa damuhan kasi ang dumi nga tuwing umuuwi. Why Barako? The name sounds so manly so there bagay na bagay hehehe

i suddenly reminisced my childhood — cat/kitten saver me!
i would usually come home with a stray kitten in my school bag :)
oh, the happiest days of my life….
but i don’t have a cat in my house anymore. having 6 dogs already breaks my back :(
though i still get a kick out of feeding the neighbors’ cats when they come by…

hi, i also love cats, before i was doing well in naming cats however i name then basing on their behavior or their coloring, i had a cat once and i called it “orange” for lack of a better name, i also had a black and white colored cat that i called “landi” since she’s always pregnant (^_^), possible suggested names, strippy or orange perhaps? have a great and safe day!

Cutie. Me and my husband loves cats and I think the cats loves us too. When we moved here about 1 year ago, there were only 2 street cats visiting this compound. But now, there are already 8 or 9 cats living here (though we never have let them in our house, oh we like one of them, so we let him in when we have to feed him to make sure the other cats won’t box him). Our first cat 3 years ago was name ‘pusa’ and our dog before was named ‘aso’. Hehehe…mahirap tandaan yun ah!

Orange-haired, green-eyed cats would like an Irish name !
    ( My guy’s named “O’Malley” )

Got a new cat, actually a stray who’s just about some days old. It’s difficult because she’s crying and crying at night. Anyway, I just want to ask where you buy the litters and litter box? I want my cat to stay at home so I would need it. Thanks!

i would like to call ur cat Bola same as our kitten, they have the same age. but ur cat looks healthier than mine. anyway we called him Bola cause he turns into a little ball while sleeping, i mean, head and tail hidden in his body… isnt it cute?!

  15. Anabelle Ymana Ferber says:

how about ” Jane ” as in Jane Doe

  16. susi says:

we actually have two kittens named One Potato and Two potato. After Masterchef’s prod company. :)

    the others named:
    Pusa (RIP)
Rubi (ang bidang kontrabida, always stealing food; bad cat, the two kittens’ mamita)
    Tim Chiu (RIP)
    JR
    Hitler (RIP)
    Shorty
    Baby Shorty (baby ni Shorty)
Tom and Jerry (isang pusa lang yan)
    Fred (RIP)
    George (RIP)
    Oreo

We’ve had lots of pet cats, and the most generic name was “Myaws” which we used to name at least three cats. Your kitten is really cute. Why not call him “Balls” :)
