The blossoming of a yellow hibiscus

I took these photos on January 18, 2004. The objective was to document the blossoming of a single yellow gumamela (hibiscus) flower. I posted these photos before in my old photo blog which, unfortunately, no longer exists. I was able to find them in my hard drive and, even two years later, I am still amused.

The exact hour and minute when each the photo was taken (based on their file info which, if you do not know yet, can be accessed using a photo editor like Adobe Photoshop) are reproduced under each one.
