Somewhere in Kuala Lumpur is a building with a PNB sign on top. When I first saw it, I wondered if the Philippine National Bank had established an offshore branch in Kuala Lumpur which would have been strange. I learned later that PNB stands for Permodalan Nasional Berhad and it is a fund management company.
