Stainless steel jewelry

Among the photos that Speedy took on his recent trip to Bicol was this one which shows hand made bracelets.

stainless steel jewelry

Believe it or not, that is stainless steel jewelry. And the most intriguing part? They are made with the use of pliers and nothing but pliers.

We’re still out of town. Be back soon. :)

They look durable. And since they are stainless, they should last. Hope Speedy bought some of this jewelry for her three ladies. :)

ladycess, hehehe, hindi siguro sila naghuhugas ng kamay hahaha

I saw someone doing this on a corner in Kuala Lumpur. Disabled athlete siya. When I went to have her make me a couple of keychains for pasalubong I noticed that she was wearing a SEAgames Manila jacket. Apparently she competed here nung last Seagames. Tuwang tuwa ako sa kanya dami ko tuloy binili. Pliers lang gamit niya. She could make intricate filigree figures. Kahit mga dragon.

Ang ganda :-) Kaya ko kaya ito? One day (good luck to me), I will try… I think you just need two or three pliers to do these: two round-nosed and one long-nosed with clippers plus a lot of time and patience.

  6. Connie says:

filigree, kongkong? wow. wala yatang filigree designs na nakita si speedy si bicol.

carol, i don’t think you need to ask kung kaya mo. grabe alam mo na agad kung anong pliers kailangan mo! sigurado the next step will just be practice.
