Speedy wasn’t planning on buying anything for Alex at the Human Touch shop. He agreed to buy a hand strap for Sam so she wouldn’t whine because I already bought something for Alex — Neil Gaiman’s “The Graveyard Book”. But Alex saw this cute bookmark, in her favorite color, and she started giving Speedy those looks that said I’m gonna cry if you don’t buy one of those for me. The bookmark only costs P70 and it really looks durable. And cute. And unique. And Speedy’s putty at his daughters’ hands although he insists he’s such a disciplinarian. Of course he bought the bookmark for Alex.

Cute bookmark… i used to have a back scratcher before which looked similar. i just wonder kung puwede ring pangkamot ng likod itong bookmark ni Alex. hehehe
I think the angle is all wrong for back scratching. LOL
i love the book and the bookmark
The irony is that I have to be the one to borrow the book — after she’s through reading it. LOL
Ms. Connie,
I wonder what Speedy does when the 3 of you women combine forces and ask him to buy something. haha. Putty, indeed.
Ah, he tries to resist. HE TRIES. But he’s not often successful. HAHAHAHA
Luckily I had a son to help me resist the feminine machinations in my house hahahaha
My girls can’t imagine having a brother, you know? It’s a woman’s world in here hehehehe
Ms. Connie, we are four marias so my dad would always brag that the only boy inthe family is spoiled…and that’s him. Well, I have two daughters and my husband is not as lucky as my dad:) hehe.
It’s a generation thing. Feminism was virtually unknown back then hehehe
Connie! Loved this post, and the one about Human Touch. Natatawa ako masyado about Speedy believing he’s a disciplinarian. LOL! I am going to look at this store – great finds! BDW, I have The Graveyard Book, too…
So where are you guys headed? Read your litany of complaints about the airport…
We went to Albay. Grabe, probins na probins. Still sorting out the photos.
