The state prescribed an age for a person to drive a vehicle or drink alcohol and yet the parents are the last to know and have no decision when their minor daughter wanted an abortion. The conscience rule does not close out options completely. The person can still avail of the services from practitioner who does not abide by the conscience rule or from private facilities. Also, scarce federal funding will not necessarily be tied unlike before. In a country where liberal ideas have gone far too left, the conscience rule is most welcome. Connie,countless times I've prayed silently at the patient's bedside.I've whispered "May awa ang Diyos" or "Patnubayan ka ng Diyos". How can I tell someone that "Jesus loves" you when a person does not know HIM? Thanks for writing about the "right of conscience rule".I only learned about this on your post.
