Natakam talaga ako so I just bought cannelleni or great northern beans today, going to soak it overnight and buy some pork hocks tomorrow morning para ma slow cook and it'll be ready for dinner. I'm excited.

Austin, the variety is never specified in the market. Even pre-packed dried beans in the supermarket -- it's either white or kidney. :(

may I know what type of white beans did you use ms. connie in your recipe? here in QLD, Australia po kasi, asian stores sell cannelleni beans which look similar to what we use in Pinas. I have tried to cook them but its not the same as the ones we buy in the wet markets in Pinas or even in the grocery stores.
