We’re waiting for the billing department to give us the total amount due as I post this. Been in the hospital since Thursday, had surgery on Friday and finally going home today.
The previous entry was written a week ago and scheduled for posting on May 1 May 31. If it weren’t for that little thing called future post, this blog would not have been updated for far too long.
Unfotunately, there is no such thing as future post in the print media and since the surgery was an emergency, I had to miss three consecutive columns. Never missed one in the (almost) three years I’ve been writing a column.
I’d show you the incision but never mind. Will be back to normal programming in a few days.

glad to know you are up and about. get well soon!
Pagaling ka Ms. Connie..
Get well Connie! I hope it wasn’t too painful.

Good riddance ba? The pain must have been excruciating for you to agree to have it removed. Who did the operation and where?

Emer, si Dr. Mat Bagsic yung surgeon. Sa UST sya based. My gastroenterologist is Regina Bagsic na doctor din pala ni Manny Pacquiao. hehehe
I never knew something was wrong with you. I’m glad it’s all over now. Get well soon.
“I never knew something was wrong with you.”
Neither did I until last week hehehe
Hi Con! Hope you recover soon…
My hubby also underwent the same procedure and was ordered to follow a strictly low fat diet and from then on. If that’s also the case with you, will there be changes in the types of food you will be cooking?
HI Sass,
It seems my comment can’t go through your blog.
Lee, yes, low fat diet hehehe
Trosp, I checked the Akismet filter. Wala kang comment na sumabit dun.
Connie, hope having a new house will make you recover pretty quickly. I had an open surgery 5 years ago, three months after my CS with my youngest child. Ang sakit!
Hay…but life goes one, minus the fried and oily things. No more quarter pounders for me coz that what caused my pain. Should have gotten some financial help from McDo pala
Hi Julie, hay naku, if there are two things that demand that I recover fast, they are 1) the school year opening and 2) the new house.
Re the fatty food. Actually, Speedy’s happy that we’re all going to be on a low-fat, low-sugar diet. It’ll benefit us all (including Pinoy Cook readers hehehe). Yang McDo, matagal ko na kaaway yan so I won’t miss anything.
