Hi Ms Connie!

I just baked this and oh sooooo yummy! I just have 1 problemo, I didn't buy enough pastry so there still lots of custard mixture left :-( Is it alright if I put the mixture in a container and store in the fridge overnight? Am planning to bake this again tom once I have pastry... Hope you can reply soon... Big Thanks!

Can't help you with the puff pastry question since I've never tried that.

As to pans with removable bottom, yes, it's a good option. Please see the egg pie entry.

Looks so delicious! Gosh! I do love all your recipes. Couple of questions po Ms Connie, (cencya na :-) ) If I will use frozen puff pastry can I follow the same procedure that you did? And also do I need to butter the pan before putting the pastry? 2nd po is it ideal to use a loose bottom pan if ever I opt to make this as one large pie? Thanks.
