Just moments ago, CNN featured an event from Florida,USA. A group of teen girls invited another girl 16 yrs old on a pretense of a party. As soon as the girl entered the house, he was beaten and ended up in the hospital with serious injuries. I thought I was bad growing up in the streets of Manila.

It is one those generation gaps. Americans never understood Columbine massacre to Virginia tech rampage Korean shooter Cho. Neither is something unique nor particularly American experience.

We live in an increasingly technologically advance world with self expression. Our kids glamorize violence in games and big screens which incidentally the military establishment found so effective in recruitment research study.

We save the whales but we will kill our enemies. And if you are rich enough, you can afford the diamond-studded black lace thong for your trophy girlfriend. Sign of times, is it?

Years ago there was a rumour in a barrio in Nueva Ecija. A “gang” of schoolboys (grade four yata) raped a classmate.
Here in the UK, the yobs are out of control. Partly due to media, but mostly lack of discipline & guidance.

This is an OT one.

If you are patronizing Padi’s Point, one thing you will notice is you’re going to be body searched for any concealed weapon, bladed knife in particular, if you want to enter their establishment. Bringing in any kind of deadly weapons inside their establishment is not allowed.

The funny thing – when you order your pulutan such as sisig or grilled llempo, it will be served with a serving knife. A serrated 4 inch blade knife.
