If you were able to see the dragon in my garden, perhaps you’ll see the headless monster in this photo. This was taken almost two years ago when Sam was in third year high school. We were at the school for a parent-teacher conference and while waiting for our one-on-one session with Sam’s adviser, Speedy took this shot. An old tree in a school… It makes me think of the Whomping Willow in Hogwarts that hides a passage to the Shrieking Shack in the nearby village of Hogsmeade. I wonder what this tree hides.
