What used to be the family/TV room is now an office/study. Above, how the original family/TV room looked. There was a built in TV cabinet/stand (left side of the photo) and the walls were in pale blue and white.

I had the cabinet removed and the colors changed. Pale blue might look good for a bedroom but it looked too cute for an office/study. I had the upper portion of the walls done in light leaf green and the lower portions in mocha. The molding that separated the upper from the lower portion of the wall was done in dark brown.

The dark brown molding is echoed in the matching bamboo blinds (very inexpensive at P1,399.00 per 60″ panel at Wilcon Builders, Libis, Quezon City). No furniture yet. Am still using a folding table that we brought from the old house.
A spare bedroom was painted light blue and is now our Family Room. No furniture there yet either. We just placed a large mattress on the floor and we lounge there when we watch TV.
