Fresh fruits and a glass of milk

Fresh fruits and a glass of milk

You don’t have to be ill to be entitled to a bowl of fresh fruits for breakfast. Especially during the summer months when fruits are a-plenty, try combining different fruits in a bowl. The complementing flavors, textures, shapes and colors make them even more appetizing.

If fruits are too light a breakfast for you, have them with a cup of yogurt or a glass of milk on the side. And you don’t have to skip your coffee or tea either. :)

Health benefits of eating fresh fruits everyday

Fruits are the most natural food and they supply our body with dietary fibers and many of the vitamins and minerals it requires. If you’re watching your weight, know that fruits are lower in calories than other popular breakfast items like breads, pancakes and waffles.

On the more practical side, fruits for breakfast require minimal preparation. It’s just a matter of peeling and cutting and eating.

Plain yoghurt and honey on fruit salad is amazing, I usually have that for breakfast in summer.

  2. What a great substitute for sweetened condensed milk and cream!
