Walking around the Suntec City Mall, my friends and I got separated. I was ambling and it wasn’t surprising that my nose signaled my feet to go where the fantastic smells were coming from. And I found the food court.
I hadn’t tried the food in any of the stalls there but, sometimes, it is easy to spot the good ones just by looking. I made a mental note of the Fortunate Restaurant stall and decided that after finding my friends I would suggest that we try the dim sum items. And we did. And they were fantastic. Especially the radish cakes. I would find out later from a long-time Singapore resident that Fortunate has made a reputation for serving very good food.
