After much discussion about the edible fruit of the malunggay tree in an older food entry, I decided to take a photo of the malunggay tree that was visible from our backyard. Well, the flowers were prettier than the fruit and, after a few shots of the malunggay fruit, I started taking photos of the flowers.

When I viewed the photos on my camera’s LCD screen, magnifying to check if they were clear enough for cropping and posting, I was pleasantly surprised to find a butterfly on a bunch of flowers. Lucky shot.

I love photography!

hi i would like 2 say dat sana mayroon kayong information about kung anong mayroon ang malunggay flower kasi bitin.
Siyanga naman, ano ba’yon? kasi bitin.
Try the encyclopedia.
Tried the flowers, tasted ok, but maybe good only as addition to a fresh vegetable salad recipe.
Got strange looks from 0others around me why I ate flowers.
Am in this journey now of making my edible flowers salad and wanting to grow the plants. I can start with malunggay, beans, squash, blue ternate….as they are around me now.
Maybe I need roses, gumamela, marigolds….. Etc
Thank you for posting this.
