Oh, my gosh — you’re a walking flower encyclopedia! It is Impatiens walleriana hybrids – ‘Super Elfin Red’. Thanks.
Impatients are very popular flowering plants here in Florida. The flowers come in different colors. They like cool weather and need to be watered every other day. I buy at least a hundred of them in colors of red, white and orange and plant them around the two (street) sides of the house. Unfortunately, they only bloom from around October to March because they don’t like too much heat – that’s why they called them annuals.
