Red flowers

Red flowers

There is a pair of French doors that lead to the garden. Between the French doors and the gate that leads to the laundry area, there is this plant with red flowers the name of which I do not know.

i learn the names from my mom, she’s in landscaping business.
try looking for “impatiens” for this one.

  2. Oh, my gosh — you’re a walking flower encyclopedia! It is Impatiens walleriana hybrids – ‘Super Elfin Red’. Thanks. :)

Impatients are very popular flowering plants here in Florida. The flowers come in different colors. They like cool weather and need to be watered every other day. I buy at least a hundred of them in colors of red, white and orange and plant them around the two (street) sides of the house. Unfortunately, they only bloom from around October to March because they don’t like too much heat – that’s why they called them annuals.
