Jasmine

Jasmine

A row of jasmine plants grow just outside our bedroom window.

Jasmine, the family to which our national flower, the sampaguita, belongs. Jasmine figures prominently in “Tomb Raider” and that kinda makes it more special because Alex really loves “Tomb Raider.”

  3. You know, when I was reading up on jasmine (discovering that sampaguita is a variety), I was so amazed at how many jasmines there are! So many!

dami nga… local/common name kasi yun sa bulacan. if you look for it in most plant growers, especially in Tabang and Calumpit.
yung with tiny white flowers, try looking for singaporean holly. :-)

  5. Yes, that’s it! I checked the shape of the leaves against the photos of miniature holly (Singaporean holly) online and they’re the same! Ang galing mo Phynkee, ha, where did you learn all that? If I knew the names of half the flowers I see around, I can have real flowers blog LOL
