Last weekend, we went to a resort in Calatagan, Batangas called Golden Sunset, owned by hair stylist turned business magnate Ricky Reyes. We didn’t go there to swim, my Balikbayan in-laws just wanted a glimpse of the sea, so a friend brought us to Golden Sunset. We had lunch there (nothing fancy but expensive, my goodness!), then we were given a tour of the place. The resort is right beside the sea but I don’t think swimming is allowed because the beach is lined with fish ponds.
