Crawling on the jackfruit up the tree

jackfruit

Alex took this photo in Balay Indang using the Canon Powershot G10. Jackfruit trees were heavy with fruits, I saw all the fruits but missed the interesting things crawling all over them. Alex didn’t miss them though. Ants? I’m not so sure. The shape of the head doesn’t look like an ant’s. Whatever it is, the jackfruit must be rip and sweet to invite such creatures.
