Hi,
thank you for this lesson, it's very usefull! A little note if you don't mind. In this sentence:
___To brighten up the too-dark photo, I adjusted the curves. On the Photoshop menu, that’s Image » Adjustments » Color Balance____ - the last menu command is Curves not Color Balance. It's shown on your next picture. I guess it's just a typo.

I run a photography business in Newport Beach, California. I am looking for someone who has experience with Lightroom (specifically color correction) and experience in Photoshop would be helpful (but not necessary). I saw your blog and website and like your work.

The person would not need to have lightroom on their computer - only an Internet connection as the person would be working from a remote desktop. So, they would just need to log onto the site and edit the pictures remotely.

Please let me know if you or someone you know has such experience.
This is not a scam. The wages in Newport Beach are very high. I'm simply trying to find a way to lower my costs and provide someone with an opportunity to make some steady money.
Thanks,

Stephen

Please forward this to someone you think is qualified and is looking for work.

I like taking food photos during midday. Lunchtime baga. I always end up with yellowish photos (like your first photo above) kapag gabi na. Once or twice I tried corecting the colors but just couldn't get it right.
What I always do for every picture I post: decrease the image size to 450pixels and add contrast (7 to 10 will do). All done in less than a minute.
