Sam celebrated her 17th birthday on August 20 but she was in the dorm so we had a belated celebration last night with dinner at Furusato Restaurant on Roxas Boulevard. We were craving for coffee and sweets after dinner and drove to Bonifacio High Street to find a place were we could get decent coffee. But it was so darn warm and humid that instead of looking for the place with the best coffee and best dessert, we ended up at the first airconditioned establishment that we saw that offered coffee and sweets. Krispy Kreme. The coffee was so-so. The donuts were, well… sweet. Well, some were good like Sam’s blueberry cheese cake and Speedy’s apple caramel. Mine was so-so just like the coffee.

Wow! Belated happy birthday to Sam…magkasunod pala sila ng bday ng son ko…he celebrated his bday last Aug 21 naman…Just curious, how were you able to take a shot of the donuts na ganito ang angle, Connie?
Obliquely through the glass hehehe And NO FLASH!
Belated sa anak mo.
Oh, I see– because if merong FLASH, the clarity of the details would suffer? Am I right?
If you use a diffuser, that can be avoided. Otherwise, parang overexposed ang foreground tapos too dark and background.
believe it or not my birthday is on august 20 too!
i share my birthday with 3 other guy friends..how funny is it that i share the same birthday with sam too?
i just turned 18 though;)
Belated happy birthday, Xedi! And to your three friends too.
Sam was born on a very stormy day. Were you?
thank you:)
hmm..
i’m not sure whether or not it was stormy that day.
although, when i was born i had really thick hair on my head,i don’t know if that’s unusual.LOL.
also, a lot of my family and friends celebrate their birthdays on august, about 3 or 4 people per week on the entire month:)
You know why a lot of babies are born in August and September? Because it starts to get cold in November. LOL Sam had thick hair too when she was born.
i just found out that it was really stormy the day i was born:)
LOL You asked you mom?
