I've read an article which states that the new corningware release today is not the same as the corningware that was bought a decade ago. it was made from Corning Pyroceram while the new corning ware is made of stoneware [World Kitchen]] which cannot be used on stove top or if you take it from the freezer you cannot put it straight to the oven.. is it true? so glad my mom's corningwares are still all in good condition..
