Boso-boso resort and convention center

sunlight filtering through the clouds

When we first went to the Boso-boso resort and convention center early last year, it was not yet operational. As we neared the entrance gate, I was in such a hurry to get out of the car to start taking photos. The sunlight filtering through the dark clouds was such a breathtaking scene and I wasn’t sure how long it would stay that way.

Well, I needn’t have worried. It stayed that way for about half an hour.

Boso-boso is the last town before the Antipolo-Tanay boundary. It was our first stop on a day-long road trip to celebrate my younger daughter’s birthday. The Boso-boso resort and convention center had picnic facilities which the caretakers allowed us to use. We brought our our picnic breaskfast and enjoyed the food and the wonderful view.

morning sunlight on a village

The Boso-boso resort and convention center stands on a hill. Below it, a village awashed in the early morning sunlight. See that diagonal white line? It’s a road…

Above is a zoomed in photo of the road that appeared as a mere white diagonal line in the previous photo.

a chapel

It is a chapel. The architecture is non-traditional and that was the first reason it caught my eye.

sierra madre mountain range

Towards the end of 2005, when the resort and convention center was fully operational, the company my husband works for held its corporate planning workshop and seminar there. He took the photo above of the Sierra Madre mountain range.
