I learned in grade school never to start writing with an apology nor begin a speech with one.
Okay, I didn’t start this entry with an apology. This is the third sentence already. The apology will come much later.
We were waterless a couple of days ago and, in the rush to take a bath, I took it upon myself to carry a huge bucket of water. I didn’t think anything of it until a day later when I felt that my hips had become dislodged.
I spent the last two days finalizing the school project in time for tomorrow’s parents’ orientation. The upgrade to WPMU 1.2.1 was messy, I had to back up, reinstall and re-upload EVERYTHING. Then, I had to synchronize because we’re using some very nifty Google Apps services. Everything is ready for tomorrow except my neck. It’s gone stiff.
It must be age in both cases. Arrggghh… how difficult it was to type that. AGE. There.
Now that all the excuses have been so conveniently laid out, I have to apologize for the delay in collating the materials gathered from last weekend’s mommy lunch. I only have one more thing to do — make a presentation (together with my project partner) at tomorrow’s program.
Sorry, but tomorrow’s program had been scheduled long before the mommy lunch. First one in, first one out. It’ll be over by tomorrow at noon. After that, I’ll get down to our Pinoy Moms Network project.

Wow. Please do not over do yourself Connie. hope everything will turn our fine. Take care.
ay naku Connie, no need for apologies at all. we ought the great friendship we all gathered from PMN to you and Noemi so that should justify the little excuses. i guess lang everyone in the blogsphere is getting so curious about the project so that adds to the pressure.
HEdCen must have been so blessed to have you as a parent who initiates a worthwhile project for them without even expecting anything in return.
good luck in your presentation tomorrow. don’t forget to project and match that with stomach in, OK?
Hi Connie..wala sa edad yan..nagpagod ka lang masyado. Tsaka sino me sabing may edad ka na?
Another reason to curse the Manila Water folks.
Thanks, Julie. The friendship is great but we want to get the project going, di ba?
Naghahanap nga ako ng madedemanda eh LOL… Manila Water — naku the noise all day from the jack hammer adds to the stress grrrrr
Feng, stomach in hehehehe if I remember your comment while speaking tomorrow, baka matawa ako bigla hahahaha
di mo pa nakwento… is Nico going to HEdCen?
Tama yang attitude na yan, Kongkong. We don’t age. We just get better hehehehe Yay I like that!!!
hahaha! ang cute ng entry na to mommy connie
forgiven, forgiven
Connie, if there’s people in this world you don’t need to apologize to, it’s the Mommies. We’re all busy doing our own stuff that we’d understand you more than anyone.
Goodluck on the school program. I would say break a leg, but your neck is already hurting so I shouldn’t add that to your pain..hehehe
.
LOL Lady Cess. You know, humor and laughter can make anything better.
Dexie, since you’re into web site development and stuff… I explored Google Apps for the school project and it’s looking good.
Hi, connie!
Kudos to your admirable dedication… I’m glad that you’re finally done with the school project. One at a time … take it easy! Things will turn out well! I know we are in good hands with you.
Take care of yourself!
Hi Connie. No apology needed. Please take your time. I hope that your presentation will go perfectly. Good luck! I’m sure you’ll do great.
Thank you for understanding, Sassy Mom and Rach.
2.20 a.m. and I should go to sleep. Sana hindi ako antukin sa orientation. Hay, the mixed feeling of excitement and anxiety…
you know what Connie, i was even planning to go to your place as soon as we drop by the school for Nico’s enrollment at The Little Farm House. my husband took a first visit there, then the second time I went with him to talk to the one in charge for preschool, then Nico took an assessment test, he passed for class 1A. we’re so OK as to enrolling him there (we love the atmosphere, walang pollution, plus the security and most esp. their holistic teaching program). kaso the ever stage Lola ni Nico, maraming comment. malayo daw sa workplace ko, ang lagay daw ba eh i-aasa ko na lang sa Yaya ang pagbabantay sa bata, pano daw pag may school activities eh di lagi daw akong absent etc etc. hay.
so to make the long story short, we decided to enroll him in the same school where he attended playgroup sessions (it’s near my office) hubby was saying pagbigyan na daw ang Lola this year tutal junior preschool pa lang naman. next year, wala ng excuses coz we can brag/complain about the school teachers (may favoritism kasi).
next school year, expect us there. hehe. and expect mo na rin frequent visits namin sa inyo.
No worries, Connie. We are all excited about the project but yes, first things first. Hope all’s well with the presentation.
who apologizes for age? Certainly not wine. =) Age is never an excuse Con, only an asset.
Don’t work too hard now….
PMN members, I am almost through with the “thing”. Hope you got your invites to the Google group.
Chris, you always say the right things hahaha Thank you, thank you! And you are right. The things I can do today, I would never have been able to do when I was twenty.
Hmmm… although I could play tennis for 4 straight hours when I was twenty and I doubt of I can do that today ahahahaha
you never never get tired, Connie, do you?
LOL SexyMom, I think if I keep still, I’ll get seriously ill.
