Hello from Tucson, Arizona. I've written a book titled "Tropic Born, War Torn: Untold Tales of WWII in the Philippines" that's being published by Inkwater Press in Portland, Oregon, and would like to use a reproduction of Amorsolo's 1954 painting "Pagsanhan Falls" on the cover. Do you have any idea how to obtain permission for its use?

Thank you so much if you or anyone can help.

Hi, Chris. Amorsolo used to work at Philprom? Who was your grandfather? I'm doing research for the Insular Life centennial book, a client of Philprom, and I thought it would be good to feature Philprom. Thanks.

Ok then -- I am rather anti-American capitalism these days myself!!!! I am going to print out your blog pages to act as my safe conduct pass -- hopefully the more I won't get bashed hahahahaha

Wow, those were his rural landscape paintings, right? Re the U.P. exhibit. Oh, come on. I was a U.P. Student, college and law school. And it's anti-American capitalism and neo-colonialism, not anti-Americanism. You'll be perfectly safe there. Of course, if I don't read any more comments from you, it means I was mistaken and you got bashed hehehehe
